The Latest in Tunable Lighting

I get asked about what is trending in healthcare almost every week. And every week I respond, tunable lighting!

What is it? How does it work and how do you control it? How does it affect a person’s circadian rhythm? What research or case studies are out there? The basic info that you need to know is that tunable lighting is a light source ability to change from warm to cool color temperatures and back throughout the day. This is being used more and more in healthcare and as a healing tool.

More research is definitely needed before there is a go-to process to design using tunable lighting but in the meantime, check out these great current articles. Definitely a good start and more to come!
